We are membership-based, which allows us to focus on the health of a smaller number of patients so that we can provide the exceptional service you are looking for, and the holistic primary care you need.
Services are managed by JoiViva Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring access to care across our entire community. This includes offering membership subsidies for eligible patients.

About Catherine Edwards MD, FAAFP
Catherine Edwards, MD, FAAFP is a board-certified Family Medicine physician honored to practice on Bainbridge Island for over 17 years.
She strives to blend empathy and compassion with excellent clinical care. As a parent and foster parent, she knows how important it is to understand each person’s unique story and enjoys developing long-term relationships with her patients and their families.
Dr. Edwards founded JoiViva to support her vision of improving equitable access to great care. Her leadership roots in Kaizen (Lean process improvement) have fueled her passion for coordinated teamwork and optimized tools. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice and cares for patients of all ages.
During her personal time, she loves hiking, backpacking, and working in her garden. Some of her other favorite hobbies include trail running, skiing, and yoga.
